Julie Held, one of the Owner/Managers of Maple and Main Realty, has been a real estate agent for 20 years. She obtained a broker's license in 2010. For most of those years, Julie has been a top producer for Hampshire and Franklin Counties in Western Massachusetts. Julie holds a B.A. from Barnard College in New York City, and began selling real estate after working as a program director in the field of non-profit adult education for over ten years. She was born and raised in Cambridge, MA, and settled in the Northampton area almost 20 years ago. Her husband, Tom Martin, is an artist and soil evaluator and they have two teenage sons.

Julie finds great satisfaction in working with her clients, many who have become friends over the years. She primarily works by referrals but welcomes new clients from other venues. She is a member of the Pioneer Valley Association of Realtors, Massachusetts Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. And in a different venue, is a member of her town's Cultural Council and past member of the Board of the Pioneer Valley Habitat for Humanity.
