That feeling of being happy when you open your apartment door is very important. I know, because I have experienced it for 10 years now in my own beautiful studio apartment. I have lived in Marble Hill for 10 years, and I have been fortunate to be able to grow my business in this beautiful enclave of pre-war buildings, detached houses, and in my newest project, The Promenade, a 70s-era high-rise that sits by itself next to the Harlem River and just west of the Marble Hill MetroNorth station. I love showing apartments there, because it has unmatched views all the way down to Midtown, over to the New Jersey Palisades, East to Queens, and North to Van Cortlandt Park. Yes, it is great to work up here, enjoying the breezes off the Harlem and Hudson Rivers, and the “big sky,” with its ever-changing blues and cloud formations. Before moving uptown I worked at one of the "Big 3" real estate brokerages for 7 years. I learned a lot there, including what you need to know before buying an apartment. I also realized that I prefer working for a small company in which I know everyone and see them on a regular basis. Altogether I have been in real estate for over 16 years, and frankly, since I’m not a kid anymore I don’t run all over New York City showing apartments. What I decided to do is to focus on and gain a deep knowledge of Upper Manhattan real estate, west of Broadway, and to make this my specialty.
